LOCAL HOTELS
We requests that guests plan their own accommodations. There are a plethora of nice and affordable hotels in the area. We recommend staying at any of the following: Diria, Wyndham, Jardin Del Eden, Occidental, Best Western or Cala Luna.
OTHER STAY OPTIONS
There are plenty of great options in the area including Airbnbs, Vrbos, and other hotels to choose from. We recommend staying within in the Tamarindo and Langosta area.
Airport Transportation
SHUTTLES
The closest airport is Liberia-Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR), which is 1.5 hours away. We recommend Tamarindo Shuttles for transfers. If you'd like for us to connect you with other guests arriving/departing at similar times to split a shuttle with, please fill out this form.
PRIVATE
For private transfers, you can either book a rent-a-car or there are many taxis that are available for around $100+ each way.
Local Transportation
DAY TO DAY
Once in Tamarindo, there is little need for a car. Most of the town is walkable. It is also common to rent a golf cart from companies in town to get around. Our planner recommended messaging Carlos on WhatsApp for golf cart rentals: +506-8852-6673. If needed, there are local taxis available.
DAY OF CEREMONY
Shuttles will be running from the Diria Resort to Langosta Beach Club at $7/person starting at 3:40PM. If interested in taking a shuttle to the ceremony, please fill out this form. You can also take taxis or your own method of transport to get to the venue. Remember to arrive at 4:00PM if traveling by your own methods.
Logistics
PASSPORT
Check to make sure that your passport is up to date and valid an additional six months after the date of travel.
REMEMBER TO
Pack sunscreen, swimsuits, and your outfit for the wedding. Check with your cell phone provider for coverage options. We recommend downloading WhatsApp and downloading spanish on the Google Translate App. Plan accordingly for an international trip!
