Accommodation

LOCAL HOTELS

We requests that guests plan their own accommodations. There are a plethora of nice and affordable hotels in the area. We recommend staying at any of the following: Diria, Wyndham, Jardin Del Eden, Occidental, Best Western or Cala Luna.

OTHER STAY OPTIONS

There are plenty of great options in the area including Airbnbs, Vrbos, and other hotels to choose from. We recommend staying within in the Tamarindo and Langosta area.

Transportation

AIRPORT

The closest airport is Liberia-Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR). It is an hour drive to get from the airport to the town. Taxis and private shuttles are available for about $100 each way. There's a public shuttle that's also available for less. You can also book rent-a-cars as well.

LOCALLY

Once in Tamarindo, there is little need for a car. Most of the town is walkable. It is also common to rent a golf cart from companies in town to get around. If needed, there are local taxis available.

PASSPORT

Check to make sure that your passport is up to date and valid an additional six months after the date of travel.

REMEMBER TO

Pack sunscreen, swimsuits, and your outfit for the wedding. Check with your cell phone provider for coverage options. Plan accordingly for an international trip!
